December 4th, 1998
Our 2nd show with our new drummer. BLUE ROSE TRIO opened the night with a
simple noise piece. ELECTRIC MISTRESS were a great band from Duncan, BC.
They had 3 guitarists and a great set including a cover of NEIL YOUNG's
"Rockin' In The Free World". The Brat didn't show up by the time
RIOTSTARTERS had to take the stage so I had to play bass for most of the set
except the last 5 tunes. Apparently The Brat fell asleep... at any rate
BLUE ROSE TRIO closed the night with extra members turning into a 2 drummer
extravaganza. Thanks to Ruby who was the only person I didn't know who
stuck around and fuck the guys who asked to play a U2 song in the middle
of our set.
